StylesGo is an on-demand platform that connects professional mobile barbers and hairstylists with customers seeking haircare services. Our mission is to provide our customers with service that makes them feel confident in their image while simultaneously helping our licensed professionals build their careers outside of traditional barbershops and salons.
With our innovative mobile application and company website, users of StylesGo enjoy a simplified way to schedule mobile haircuts and hairstyling services to be delivered to the comfort of their home, hotel, or event.
How did the company start?
The StylesGo journey began in 2015 in San Francisco, CA, founded by Dejon Boyd, a professionally licensed barber. While attending San Francisco State University, Dejon would provide haircuts to students staying in dorm rooms on campus while also managing school and his barbershop across town. He notices the freedom of delivering his service to people instead of being stationary 8-10 hours per day. From that point on, he decided to dedicate himself to find a solution that would give that same feeling of freedom to other barbers and hairstylists and people who enjoy the luxury of a haircut delivery service that comes to their home, hotel, and event. He started by personally passing out flyers to build up momentum for what was soon to be a website where customers could schedule mobile haircut service from local barbers and hairstylists. StylesGo was now ready to make its mark with its first online presents backed by a passionate and motivated CEO.
Where is StylesGo Today?
With 5,000+ users, we have seen much success over the past few years. Our service has partnered with brands such as Nordstrom, Barney’s NY, and The FourSeasons to bring the experience of mobile haircuts and hairstyling directly to their stores for customers and hotel guests staying in luxury suites. We currently have over 100 barbers and hairstylists and have expanded our service from San Francisco too New York, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. At the start of 2021, we launched our mobile app for customers to download on the apple store and have received a lot of positive feedback from our users. As our technology advances, so do our capabilities. Our mission remains the same and has guided the company to reach its goals to improve our service and products
